Matsumoto Rica (松本梨香) is a Japanese pop singer and seiyuu currently signed to SME Records. She got her start as a seiyuu in 1988 after winning the audition for a role in the anime series Shin Osomatsu-kun, and continued to work in anime and Drama CDs. In 1993, she released her debut album as a singer, CLUSTER. Matsumoto's career would skyrocket in 1997 with the release of the single "Mezase Pokemon Master", the original theme to the Pocket Monsters anime where she voiced the main character Satoshi. She would have continued success with the Pocket Monsters series and she also worked as part of the anison supergroup JAM Project.
