The song "STEAL THIS HEART" used as a promotional single for the record and received a music video. The album is described as having the most unified sound out of all of Onitsuka's studio albums, and is also noted as having her most complex and diverse arrangements to date. DOROTHY also shows the restrengthening of her vocals, which were weakened from her throat surgery and emaciation during the LAS VEGAS era.
