"X" is a song recorded by Onitsuka Chihiro, first released in 2009 on her "X / Last Melody" single, however it was first performed at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2008. It has been described as a hard and edgy tune fresh to Onitsuka, and even includes the use of vocoder.
Music Video
The PV for "X" was directed by Kakimoto Kensaku. The music video features contemporary dancer Moriyama Kaiji and Onitsuka both dancing in various dark places that include a bridge, a cave, a forest and a temple. At the end, a Chihiro appears to collapse and fall, and toddler is shown on the bridge. Similar to her PV for Bokura Barairo no Hibi, much of the color is drained from the video, leaving it mostly desaturated.
