"Koi Hitoyo" is the sixth single released by Kudo Shizuka. It reached #1 on the Oricon charts. It also reached #6 on the yearly Oricon charts of 1989. The single charted for twenty-one weeks and sold 607,000 units. The title track was used as a commercial theme song for the Hakone Open-Air Museum. It also would be performed at Kudo's second musical appearance at the 40th Kouhaku Uta Gassen in 1989.
