===Formation of the Group===
The band was formed in 2008 when former Paradise Go!! Go!! member Misaki Matsumoto met Stephanie. The two were both part of the same agency; the newly formed LDH, started by [[EXILE]]'s hiro. Under the agency, they were assigned to the dance performance group, Real Force. When the unit fell apart, the two came together to for Love in 2008. By then, both members have been in the entertainment industry for over ten years.
===Debut/First Album===
The duo's first activity together was releasing a cover of [[ZONE]]'s  [[Secret Base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~|secret base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~]] (secret base～君がくれたもの～) as a ringtone (as well as releasing the 1 minute 30 second preview version in a special CD attached to the August issue of Gekkan Exile magazine).
 
On August 26, 2009, Love released their debut single, [[First Love ~Love Letter~]] with their cover of [[Secret Base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~|secret base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~]] (secret base～君がくれたもの～) as a b-side track.

Following the success of their second, Love released their next single  [[Watashi Aumono]] (わたしあうもの) which is their best selling single to date.
 
On April 14, 2010, Love released their debut album, [[Taisetsu na Kimochi (Love album)|Taisetsu na Kimochi]] (大切なキモチ). The album debuted at #12 on the Oricon Weekly Album charts, selling over 18,450 copies in total. To promote the album, Love embarked on a 9-date live tour titled "Love Live Tour 2010 Love Letter"
