Satoda Mai with Goda Kazoku promoting the single "I Believe ~Yume wo Kanaeru Mahou no Kotoba~ / Don't leave me" (2009)

Satoda Mai with Goda Kazoku (里田まい with 合田家族) is a Japanese pop unit under the Hexagon Family group. The group was formed on October 2008 on the show Quiz! Hexagon II under the name Satoda Mai with Goda Kyodai (里田まい with 合田兄妹). They released their first single, entitled "Mou Sugu Christmas", a month later with much success as the single was in the Top 10 of the weekly charts. The coupling track, "Bye Bye", was re-cut and released as the A-side of their next single two month later.

In 2008, Konbe Ranko joined the group, thus the group changing names to Satoda Mai with Goda Kazoku. They released their first double A-side under the new name, entitled "I Believe ~Yume wo Kanaeru Mahou no Kotoba~ / Don't leave me" three months later. The group also made their first appearance in the annual Hexagon Family concert at Yoyogi Arena. By the year's end, the group released their first self-titled mini-album.
