"Hotaru / Shounen" is Fukuyama Masaharu's 26th single. The single comes in three editions: a regular edition with the main songs, their instrumentals and "Revolution//Evolution"; a limited edition with the PV for "Hotaru" and a DVD recording and another limited edition that includes a bonus CD with a bonus track "Hotaru -piano ver.-", the respective instrumental and a photobook. "Hotaru" was used as the theme song for the drama Mioka, "Shounen" was used as the REGZA commercial song and "Revolution//Evolution" was used as a tied-in song for Asahi Super Dry Beer.
The single is certified Platinum for shipment of 250,000 copies .
