Golbies (ゴルビーズ) was a Japanese pop group and a sub-unit of Tokyo Performance Doll from 1990 to 1995. The group got their name from the pet name of then-Soviet Union leader Mikhail Gorbachev.[1] The group released their first single on May 1990, entitled "JUST LIKE MAGIC". They released the follow-up single "Tenshi no Sasayaki" five months later. Even rhough "Tenshi no Sasayaki" was their last official single, the group still performed at various lives and appeared on many Tokyo Performance Doll albums. However, the group officially disbanded in 1995 when all three members graduated from TPD.
