UNiTE. are currently an indies band signed with the label Danger Crue Records. Previously, Shiina Mio as their leader chose the name "unite" for the track song but finally it became band's name.

Before forming UNiTE., Shiina Mio, Haku, and Yukimi began visual-kei band Canzel in 2007. Then, after the release of the last album, they disbanded in 2010. After almost one year, around 2011, they formed a new band and recruited a vocalist Yui (known as Kai in his previous oshare-kei band ALiBi) and a guitarist LiN (former bassist of LeMpicka?).
