"Poolside" is the thirteenth single released by Takahashi Hitomi. The single was released in two versions: a CD only version and a CD+DVD version, which includes a music video. The single is produced by PE'Z pianist H ZETT M, and includes "KURAGE-DROP", which is Takahashi's first efforts at music writing. The title track was used as the August opening of the television show SHOWBIZ COUNTDOWN. Lyrically, the title song describes an adult woman looking back on her childhood while also anticipating the future. The song reach #200 on the Oricon Charts with an unknown amount of copies sold.
