"The Gate of the Hell" is the 17th single released by JAM Project. The three tracks were used as the opening, ending and insert song for the OVA Mazinkaiser: Shitou Ankoku Dai Shougun. The first two songs were performed by Fukuyama Yoshiki and the third song is performed by Endoh Masaaki. The single reached #88 on the Oricon weekly charts, selling 1,445 copies on its first week. It was charted for total of two weeks, sold 1,978 copies in total.
