Information

"Geune" is a song recorded by Lee Hyori. It can be found as track #7 on her fourth album H-Logic, and is one of the six songs composed by Bahnus accused of plagiarism; specifically from Mikis Theodorakis's song "To treno fevgi stis okto" or "The train leaves at eight" which was the tenth track on his 1967 album Ta Laika. Mnet Media released a statement concerning the 6 tracks on Lee's album accused of plagiarism and claimed "To treno fevgi stis okto" was an ancient Greek folk tune created by an unknown dead composer, therefore credit was impossible. However, it is public knowledge in Greece that Theodorakis along with poet Manos Eleftheriou, whom is now deceased, jointly own the songs created on Ta Laika; Theodorakis stylistically based the composition of the music on Greek folk music, while Eleftheriou wrote the lyrics based on an old Greek poem.
