Furukawa Miki is a Japanese musician. She was the bassist and backing vocals for the now disbanded SUPERCAR.

Information

Miki joined the band SUPERCAR in 1995 after seeing a poster for band try-outs in Aomori Prefecture. They made their major debut in 1997 with the single Cream Soda. After their disbanding in February 2005 Miki began to participate in the work of other musicians. She has also worked on the art for many commercials and even done some fashion modelling for magazines.

Miki made her solo debut as Furukawa Miki in June 2006 with the single "Coffee & SingingGirl!!!". She released her solo debut album "Mirrors" less than a month later.

For December 2nd, 2009, Furukawa Miki announced the release a new solo single, "Saihate". It's her first release since switching record labels from BMG Japan to Ki/oon Records. Her last release under BMG Japan was the album "Bondage Heart", released in August 2008.

In 2010, Miki will release her third album titled "Very".
