Information

Ishikawa Yoko made her musical debut with the single Jinchouge in 1979 after being notice at a Yamaha Popular Music Contest. While she started writing her lyrics beginning with the second single, it wasn't until the third single that Ishikawa became a smash hit. She also became a popular DJ and television personality on shows like Youngtown.

In 1984, she released the single Futari no Ai Rondo with CHAGE from CHAGE and ASKA and it became another hit for Ishikawa. But six years later, Ishikawa wouls suddently call it quits and retire from singer but keep on writing lyrics and composing. She would later study aboard in New York City where she married a businessman.
