Matsubara Yuriya (松原ユリヤ) is a member of Hello! Project as a member of Hello! Pro Kenshuusei. She first appeared as a finalist in the Hello! Project New Member Audition in 2017.

- Made her first live appearance at the "Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai December 2017 ~Conti→New!~" event on December 10, 2017.
- Has a Japanese father and a Belarusian mother, and has been raised bilingually to speak both Japanese and Russian.
- Was a finalist in the 2017 Hello! Project New Member Audition; her number was #103. No finalists passed the audition.
- Prior to her audition she was involved in a local children's performance program, Toyosu Idol Star Gakuen (豊洲☆アイドルスター学園).
- During the audition she performed the "Danson" (ダンソン) gag from the comedic duo Bambino, and later performed a version of it with former Hello! Project and °C-ute member Okai Chisato in the last episode of the audition webshow.
- She loves comedy; her favorite comedian is Kazutoyo Koyabu (小籔千豊).
- Both Kazutoyo Koyabu and duo Bambino tweeted their support for her on December 13, 2017, Kazutoyo stating that she was now his favorite idol and he would like to work with her in the future.
- Originally presented herself as not knowing or particularly liking anything about Hello! Project, only to later reveal that she liked ANGERME member Sasaki Rikako.
- She doesn't like Mitsubachi Maki, the audition dance and Hello Pro Kenshuusei instructor, and thinks she's scary, but ststed she would try her best to properly face her.
