Much like her previous single "Magic∞world", it was used as the ending theme for the anime series Toaru Majutsu no Index. The B-side, "Best friends" was used as the ending theme for the OVA HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD Drifters of the Dead; Kurosaki previously released an Image album for the TV series.
