Butterfly Effect is the first original studio album released by Kurosaki Maon. It was released in two versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD edition. The limited edition includes a DVD which features the promotional video of the song "VANISHING POINT" as well as footage from Kurosaki's international debut at Anime Expo 2011, a sleeve case, a 24-page photobook, and a card with hand written comment. The song "VANISHING POINT" was used as theme song for the online video game LEGEND of CHUSEN 2, while "SCARS" was used as ending theme for the OVA HELLSING IX. The album reached #43 on the weekly Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of two weeks, selling 3,287 copies.
