- Information
"ROCKET DIVE" is the debut single released by hide with Spread Beaver. The title track was used as the opening theme song for the anime AWOL and as the commercial song for "98 MIZUNO INTERNATIONAL". The single reached #4 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for 35 weeks. By the end of 1998 it sold 690,220 copies, making it the 33rd best-selling single of the year. In 2007, the single was re-released with a different cover and, on December 8, 2010, it was re-released again as part of the third releases in The Devolution Project. The song can be found on the 1999 hide tribute album, hide TRIBUTE SPIRITS, covered by Hotei Tomoyasu.
