SPEEDWAY
SPEEDWAY was a Japanese rock band from 1979 to 1982. The band started in 1976 and entered the Santa Record Shop Event Contest soon after. They released their first single, Yume Made Tonde, in 1979. A year later, Komuro would join the band for their album BASE AREA. But the group would break in 1983 and Utsunomiya, Kimone, and Komuro would go on to form the band TM Network, which dedicated their 2007 album to the band. The band reunited in 1997 for one night at a Utsunomiya live event with out Komuro.
