"Akashi" is the eighth single released by ZONE. The track "Akashi" has a heavy alternative rock sound. The single was released in three different formats with three different covers. Version A has a shortened tracklist, while B and C have the same tracklist. The single reached #3 on the Oricon charts and stayed on the charts for a total of fifteen weeks. In all the single has sold a total of 112,000 copies.
All the girls also have performed the song solo. There's a music video for each girls version.
