Eien is the eighth album released by ZARD. The first press included a vinyl single called "CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF OF YOU", a collaboration between Sakai Izumi and Konishi Yasuharu, and also cover of the song by Frankie Valli. It peaked at #1 on the Oricon weekly albums chart and charted for a total of seventeen weeks, selling 1,149,931 units and becoming the #19 album of 1999.
A 30th anniversary remaster was released on September 15, 2021.
