Hamazaki Takashi (浜崎貴司) is a Japanese pop singer, musician, actor, vocalist of the funk rock band FLYING KIDS, and member of the units Mashiriruka and Hamazaki Komine.

Information

Hamazaki got his start in the music business after graduating from college when he became a member of the agency Planning, which he was a part of till 1989. In 1988, he became the vocalist of FLYING KIDS and the band made their musical debut soon after, winning challenges for five weeks on the TBS audition show Miyake Yuji no Ikasu Band Tenkoku.

Hamazaki pursued an acting career by appearing in his first dorama, Moshimo Onegai ga Kangau Nara, in 1994. When FLYING KIDS took a hiatus in 1998, it gave Hamazaki a chance to pursue a solo career and released his first single, entitled "Kokoro no Soko", a year later.

In 2004, Hamazaki formed the unit Mashiriruka with KICK THE CAN CREW's MCU, releasing three singles. Then three years later, FLYING KIDS got back together and Hamazaki formed another unit, named Hamazaki Komine, with Komine Lisa, releasing two singles and one album.
