"Hikari" is the 26th single released by hitomi. It was released in two editions, a limited CD+DVD and a regular CD Only edition. The title track was used as the opening theme for the TV program Koisuru Hanikimi and as theme song for TX's coverage of the 1st Annual All-Japan University Woman Long-Distance Relay Race. The single reached #16 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for six weeks, selling around 21,000 copies.
