Information
Special is the first mini-album released by hitomi. It was released in a CD+DVD format only. The DVD features a music video of "Song for you☆" and an exercise video with the song "Guru ☆ Maze Yeah!!". The songs "Special☆" and "Guru☆Maze Yeah!!" were used as opening and ending theme songs to the anime Hanakappa. "Song for you☆" was used as the commercial theme song to Naikakufu Purple Dial, "Story" was used as the commercial theme song for the Android App ePHONE Bako, "Non Position" was used as the commercial theme song to Tsuke Matsuge. The song "Venus", used as the theme song to the TV program Venus no Himitsu, should not be confused with her Shocking Blue' covered song of the same title included on "Japanese girl" single, released in 2005. The mini-album reached #151 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for one week.
