Luv Songs is Che'Nelle's first Japanese cover album. The album features English covers of popular Japanese and English songs, both new and old, with the exception of the last two tracks. The album was a hit both digitally and physically, being certified Platinum by RIAJ. This album reached #3 on the Oricon weekly charts and has charted for 107 weeks, selling nearly 350,000 copies. In 2013 there was released a special edition of this album, which continues remixes of "Baby I Love U".
