Maeda Nobuteru got his start in music in 1984 when he was working a job in the Being Music Company, working on concerts for Being artists like Hamada Mari. Soon after, he met music producer Nagato Daiko at a music festival and allowed Maeda to form a group. He seeked out Kakuno Hideyuki, who Maeda and him performed in a small band since high school, Matsumoto Ryouji, and later Haruhata Michiya to form the band Pandora. The year after, the band changed their name to The TUBE and debuted later in June.
In 1987, he started his solo career by releasing his first album, entitled LOOSE. He also started to write lyrics for his band around the same time, starting with the eighth single in 1988. Two years later, he released his first solo single and started his own solo tour, entitled "LIVE AROUND CHANGE OF PACE".
Then in 2002, he became a caster for the 2002 Winter Olympics.Discography
