"soar" is the sixth single released by THE KIDDIE. It is the first entry in a three consecutive month single release plan, the second entry is "BLACK SIDE" and the last entry is "Poplar". The single was released in two different versions: a CD+DVD edition (A) and a CD only edition (B). A-Type comes with a DVD of the title song's PV, while the B-Type comes with an extra song, "Beaming". The title song was used as an opening theme song for the NTV shopping show Poshlet Department Store Shin'ya-ten. The single reached #35 on the major Oricon charts, where it charted for two weeks.
