- Information
"to U" is the first single by Sakurai Kazutoshi's charity band Bank Band, and featured Salyu on track #1. "to U" was the concept song behind the charity concert ap bank fes '06 that both Salyu and Bank Band played a part in. "to U" was also used as the theme song for TBS' show "Chikushitetsuya NEWS23" (interestingly, on Fridays they would use the piano version instead), and "Umarekuru Kodomotachi no Tame ni" was used as the ending theme song for the dorama Hotaru no Haka. "to U" was first performed solo by Salyu at Shibuya Club Quattro on June 17th 2005, and is also featured on her album TERMINAL as a solo version. This single reached #2 on the Oricon charts and sold sold 302,233 copies in 2006, becoming the #23 single of the year. It charted for 42 weeks and sold a total of 319,630 copies.
