Wakeshima Kanon promoting luminescence Q.E.D (2016)

Wakeshima Kanon

Wakeshima Kanon (分島花音) is a Japanese singer-songwriter and cellist. She debuted in 2008 as a gothic lolita artist with the single "still doll" (Vampire Knight ending theme song). Her early works were produced by famed Malice Mizer/Moi dix Mois guitarist and musician, Mana. She was nominated for a Best Newcomer award for 2008 in the fourth annual Shōjo Beat Music Awards, nominees of which are determined by surveying "record companies, music journalists, music experts, and music fans".

In 2012, Kanon parted ways with After Mana and working as a part of the duo kanonxkanon, she signed with Warner Home Video, releasing the single "Foul Play ni Kurari / Sakura Meikyuu" on November 7th. Fans wouldn't see another released until February 2014, with her fourth single "signal". She has released nine singles and three albums to date.

Her fourth studio album luminescence Q.E.D is released this week on November 30th.
