シャボン玉 (Romaji: Shabondama; English: Soap Bubbles) is the 19th single from the Hello! Project group Morning Musume, released on July 30, 2003 on the zetima label in both regular (EPCE-5225) and limited (EPCE-5224) editions. DVD and VHS versions of the music video with an alternate version and 'making of' were released on the same day.
The limited edition CD comes in a special packaging with 15 photocards. Each member is featured on a photocard with two photos, one on the front and one on the back of the card.
This was the first single to feature 6th generation members Miki Fujimoto, Kamei Eri, Michishige Sayumi, and Tanaka Reina who joined the group in January 2003 but were kept in the sidelines and it wasn't until the first performance of Shabondama on 27 Hour TV on June 29, 2003 that we really got to see them in action. This first performance was without 5th generation member Ogawa Makoto because she had hurt her leg and was still recovering.
