Watanabe Mayu (渡辺麻友) is a Japanese pop singer and idol managed by Production Ogi. She is currently a member of AKB48's Team B.

  • Originally a third generation member of AKB48 and a founding member of Team B, she was transferred to Team A during the AKB48 team shuffle in August 2012. During the AKB48 Group Grand Shuffle in February 2014, she was transferred back to Team B.
  • Originally auditioned for AKB48's 2nd generation.
  • Yonezawa Rumi gave her the nickname "Mayuyu" (まゆゆ).
  • Admires and respects Hirajima Natsumi.
