Yamamoto Sayaka (山本彩) is a Japanese pop singer and idol managed by Showtitle. She is currently the captain of NMB48 Team N and NMB48 overall, and was previously a concurrent member of AKB48.

Trivia

• Prior to NMB48, she was a member of the girl band MAD CATZ from 2008 to 2009, where she used the stage name SAYAKA and performed guitar and vocals.
• Originally a first generation member of NMB48 Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to Team N in 2011 and announced as captain.
  • During the AKB48 Group Grand Shuffle in 2014, she was announced for a concurrent position with AKB48 Team K. She announced the cancellation of her concurrency on April 13, 2016, which was ended on May 26, 2016.
• Cut her hair in 2012 to show her determination to enter the top 16 at next year's General Election, as she had ranked at only #18 that year.
• Her favourite foods are Chinese food and Japanese sweets.
• Is often joked at by members for having a protruding chin, something which is used to provoke her.
