Yamamoto Junichi (山本淳一) is a Japanese singer best known for being a member of the Johnny's Entertainment group Hikaru GENJI.

In 1986, Yamamoto Junichi passed the "Idol Hanagumi Otokogumi" audition and joined Johnny's Entertainment. The following year, he debuted as part of Hikaru GENJI and remained with the group until it disbanded in 1995. The same year, he formed a unit to sing the opening song for the anime Nintama Rantaro with some juniors (such as Ohno Satoshi or Ikuta Toma) to form the group Junichi&JJr.

In 2002, he left the company to start a solo career.
