DEL48 (New Delhi 48) was an Indian idol group produced by Akimoto Yasushi and managed by YKBKB Entertainment Pvt Ltd., located in New Delhi, India. The formation of the group was first announced on June 19, 2019 with auditions held from June 19th to July 31st. The first generation was revealed on December 30, 2019. On July 13, 2022, YKBKB Entertainment announced the closure of both DEL48 and its sister group MUB48 due to the unstable situation of COVID-19 in India.
