MUB48 (Mumbai48) was an upcoming Indian idol group produced by Akimoto Yasushi and managed by YKBKB Entertainment Pvt Ltd., located in Mumbai, India. The formation of the group was first announced on December 27, 2017 through AKB48's official SHOWROOM live broadcast by Yokoyama Yui, where the group was originally known as MUM48. On June 19, 2019, it was revealed that the group was rebranded to MUB48. On July 13, 2022, YKBKB Entertainment announced the closure of both MUB48 and its sister group DEL48 due to the unstable situation of COVID-19 in India.
