Amano's love for music started at the age of five when she took up piano. While in school, she entered music clubs and eventually came into the spot light when she joined a theater group. She bought her first guitar in High School (which she still plays now). She once recorded her songs on a tape and sent it to one of her friends which got onto the hands of Otokura Records. They called Amano and appreciated her work. She found a band at that time herself, but unfortunately, it failed. Later, she released [[Hakoniwa]], [[Love Dealer]] and [[B.G ~Black Guitar + Berry Garden~]] under the [[Pony Canyon]] indie label as Amano Tsukiko, even though she didn't come into spot-light until her first major debut single [[Bodaiju]] in November of 2001. In the year 2007, she left [[Pony Canyon]] and returned independent. In Autumn 2008, Amano retire from her singing career but she is still writing songs for other artists.
