Information

PLAY or Pēi is the 13th studio album released by Jolin Tsai. This studio album was released in two versions; the Play Drama Actress version and the Absolutely Play Medusa version. The Play Drama Actress version contains a 48-page photobook with pictures in New York shooted by the Serbian photographer Marko Krunic. On the cover she wears clothes by The Blonds. In the other hand the Absolutely Play Medusa version came with a 24-page photobook with pictures in Hong Kong shooted by the Hong Kong photographer Wing Shya and a Woohoo mask. On this cover she wears a handmade jumpsuit by Versace.

The title of the studio album Pēi (呸) is a homophone of Play and PLAY is the official English title of the studio album. Pēi (呸) means Pooh or Bah (to spit (with contempt)). The word play is also refer to the noun which is used in the theater.

The songs "Diànhuà Hánghòu" was used as the first lead track and was previously released as her 5th digital single; "PLAY (Wǒ Pēi)" was used as the second lead track and was previously released as her 6th digital single; "Dì Sān Rénchēng" was used as the third lead track and was previously released as her 7th digital single; "I'm Not Yours" was used as the fourth lead track, is a collaboration with the Japanese singer Namie Amuro.
