"Ho・n・to・u・so / Su・ki・ra・i" is the first single released by misono under the moniker me, and her 17th overall single. It is her eighth double A-side single, and is the seventh in a string of double A-side single releases. It is also her first and last solo release of 2011. This was released in three different versions: a limited Tales CD+DVD edition that comes with a new version of her collaborative song "with you" with BACK-ON (along with its music video), a Me CD+DVD edition that contains the standard music video for "Ho・n・to・u・so" and a new version of the music video of her collaborative song with Cocoa Otoko. ""NO you! NO life! NO...××?""., and a CD-only edition that comes with a new version of her song "Kimi to Watashi no Uta". The Tales edition's DVD also contains an animated version of the music video and two live performaces. "Ho・n・to・u・so" was used as the opening theme song of the anime OVA Tales of Symphonia THE ANIMATION THE UNITED WORLD, while "Su・ki・ra・i" was used as the October/November ening theme song of the TV program Akko ni Omakase!.
