FIESTAR
FIESTAR (피에스타) was a Korean pop five member girl group under Bomnal Entertainment. The group's name is a portmanteau of the words Fiesta ([es;]: Party) and Star. The group were signed under LOEN TREE since their debut but due to a reorganization on the label, in 2013, they were moved to LOEN Entertainment's sublabel Collabodadi.
In 2016, the group returned to LOEN TREE, now under the name FAVE Entertainment. In April 2018, the members' contract with FAVE Entertainment expired and the group decided to not renew it. They disbanded on May 15, 2018 after they haven’t renewed their contracts ended on April 30.
They reunited in August 2024 with a remake of "Jjanhae", in a project invested by Cao Lu.

Information
Pre-Debut
LOEN Entertainment announced that they would be debuting a multinational six member girl group, with 4 Koreans (Jei, Linzy, Hyemi and Yezi), one Chinese (Cao Lu), and one American (Cheska). Linzy was previously a YG Entertainment trainee and was originally supposed to debut as a member of 2NE1. After their debut, she was supposed to debut in the company's new girl group, however they disbanded before debuting.
2012: Collaboration with IU & Debut
Prior to their official debut and after revealing the member profiles, LOEN announced that they would first collaborate with fellow label singer IU on the compilation mini-album LOEN tree Summer Story. The song "Dalbitbada" was written by the famous lyricist Kim Eana and ranked high on Korean music charts.
In August of the same year, they announced the release of their pre-debut digital single, "Wicked", featuring Tiger JK. The song gained attention for its reggaeton influence. They officially debuted on August 31 with the single "VISTA". JYJ's Junsu and Sunny Hill's Seungah appeared in the music video.
2014-2015: Cheska's Departure & First Mini-Album
On March 20, 2014, LOEN announced that Cheska would be leaving the group after long conversations. They also announced that FIESTAR would not be adding any new members. Their third digital single "Hana Deo (One More)", the first release after Cheska's departure, was supposed to be released in April, however it was delayed to July 1st amidst the mourning of Sewol Ferry Tragedy.
On February 16, 2015, it was announced that the group would come back in March with their first mini-album, BLACK LABEL. Most songs were co-written by Linzy and Yezi. The mini-album was released on March 4, with the title track "Jjanhae".
2018-2024: Disbandment & Reunion
On May 15, 2018, after a long hiatus with no group activities, it was reported that the contracts of Linzy, Hyemi, Jei and Yezi all expired on April 30 and the members chose not to renew with the label and they disbanded on the same day.
On December 8, 2022, Cao Lu revealed through Instagram that her work visa in South Korea had been granted. On May 22, 2024, Cao Lu shared that she had bought partial copyrights of their previous song with an intent to re-record them in Chinese.
On August 27, 2024, it was reported that FIESTAR would be making their comeback on August 31 to celebrate their twelve years anniversary with a remake of their 2015 song "Jjanhae". Cao Lu was reported to have invested in the project, since "they never won a music show and no label would like to sign with them".
