On August 2011, Miyazaki Yuka auditioned to be a new member of S/mileage. She made it to the finals, but was not chosen to be a sub-member. On March 2012, she won an audition for UP-FRONT PROMOTION. On October 10, 2012, it was announced that she would be a member of the new Hello! Project unit GREEN FIELDS alonside Shimizu Saki and Mitsui Aika.
