On February 3, 2013 producer Tsunku announced that, despite her not being part of the Hello! Pro Kenshuusei, Yuka would be a member in the first of multiple new Hello! Project groups to feature Kenshuusei members, along with Miyamoto Karin, Takagi Sayuki, Otsuka Aina, Uemura Akari, and Kanazawa Tomoko. On December 21, 2018 it was announced through the official website that Miyazaki would graduate from Juice=Juice and Hello! Project at the conclusion of Juice=Juice's Spring 2019 concert tour. In her statement she confirmed that she had been considering it for the year prior and chose the timing herself since the new members had become familiar with the group. She would continue in entertainment after graduating, with details on future activities to be revealed at a later date.
