Oricon problem

I was looking over some of your recent pages when I saw the page for "Cinderella-tachi e no Dengon". I was wondering where you got the Oricon information for it from. I've always heard that there have only been two female artists to reach #1 with a debut single: Uchida Yuki and Takahashi Hitomi. It would also be ideal to put a official reference for the information in the external links of the page. Please also include an Oricon Profile for release, when avaviable (they arn't always with the older stuff).

Also when uploading covers please use categories. Category:CD Cover is used with all covers the we also have Category:Single Cover and Category:Album Cover. The 8cm singles also have an additional category, Category:8cm Single Cover. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 16:00, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

I don't know the exact number, but there are more than two. Sawajiri Erika and Yakushimaru Hiroko are also the only female soloists to have both their first two singles reach #1 (if you count Erika's "Taiyou no Uta" single). [1] --Lambchopsuey 16:56, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Oh, okay. It must be that Uchida Yuki and Takahashi Hitomi are the only ones to have their debut singles reached #1 during their first week. Now I remember "Ihoujin" also reached #1, but I don't think until a coulpe weeks in. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 18:08, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, the #1 on the Cinderella-tachi e no Dengon refers the highest it went to (not exactly if it went #1 on the first week or later on). I will try to source everything (I will also try do Oricon profile for the late stuff because like you said, Oricon doesn't list anything before late 90s. Do you want to put up maybe Yahoo Music Japan Profile because those go back till 1988) but here are the links that I use with help from the Japanese Wikipedia (They are pretty accurate with most of the ranking numbers): 1 and 2 (This site is pretty superb in Oricon details). --Aisasami 01:10, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

For the CD cover categorys, singles should have both Category:CD Cover and Category:Single Cover (if it's an 8cm those two + Category:8cm Single Cover), and albums should have Category:CD Cover and Category:Album Cover. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 02:33, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

I am trying to do it but I forgot a lot (I don't do this often anymore due to schoolwork and this is a new thing to me, takes time getting used to it). I am verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry sorry if I don't add because I forget. Feel free to add the tags if I do. But, how about vinyls? You don't have a tag for vinyl covers?
