CELL No.9 is the split mini-album released by TROPICAL GORILLA and BEAT CRUSADERS. The mini-album was the second installment of a trilogy of split mini-albums, all of them following the same pattern; two collaboration tracks, two new songs, and two covers (of each other). The song "DROOG IN A SLUM" was used as lead track for the mini-album with a music video produced for it. The song "FREEDOM" was used as the theme song for X-TRAIL JAM IN TOKYO DOME competition and also a music video was produced for it. The mini-album reached #12 on Oricon charts and charted for 6 weeks.
