"crossing field" is the second single released by LiSA. It was released in three editions: a limited pressing CD+DVD edition, a limited CD+DVD edition, and a regular CD edition. The title track was used as the opening theme song for the anime Sword Art Online. The single reached #5 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 24 weeks, selling 88,444 copies, becoming her best selling single to date. Because of in 2012 the total sales is 85,138, becoming #91 single of the year 2012. An English version of the song was included on her seventh single "Shirushi".
