"Kodoku no Kakera" is the sixth single released by Angela Aki. The title track was used as the theme song for the drama Kodoku no Kake ~Itoshiki Hito yo~. This is Aki's second single not to be released in CD+DVD form. Originally track three was announced as, "Kodoku no Kakera (Angela ni Yoru Piano Solo no Instrumental)", however this title was later changed to "Solitude" (while the song remained the same). The single reached #9 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 8 weeks.
