Niji is L'Arc~en~Ciel's seventh single. Niji was used as the opening theme for the Rurouni Kenshin movie. It reached #3 on the Oricon charts and sold 562,340 copies, becoming the #53 single of 1997. It charted for 25 weeks and sold a total of 723,211 copies.
This single was re-released in 12cm format on August 30th 2006, as part of their 15th anniversary campaign. The first press was a picture-label disc.
