BEAST

BEAST is a Korean pop six member boy group that debuted in 2009 under CUBE Entertainment. MBLAQ is an acronym for "Boys of EAst Standing Tall". The group debuted in Japan in May 2011 under Sony Music Entertainment. BEAST was first known as B2ST, which was an acronym for "Boys to Search for Top" but was later changed.

The group consists of, Yoon Doo Joon, Yang Yo Seob, Son Dong Woon and Jang Hyun Seung, who was already known for being the rejected member before BIGBANG's debut, Yong Jun Hyung a former member of the group Xing, and the soloist Lee Ki Kwang formerly known as AJ.

The group debuted in October 2009 with the release of the mini-album BEAST is the B2ST.

They made their Japanese debut in 2010 with the album BEAST -Japan Premium Edition- and reached #13 on the Oricon charts.

Since BEAST's debut, they have released 14 Korean singles, 5 Korean mini-albums, 1 Korean Digital mini-album, 2 Korean albums and 4 Korean DVDs. They have released 3 Japanese singles, 2 Japanese albums and 7 Japanese DVDs. Their second Korean album Hard to Love, How to Love was released July 19th, 2013.
