Trivia

• Originally a third generation member of AKB48 and a founding member of Team B, a scandal in July 2008 led to Kikuchi being dismissed from the group. In November of the same year, she re-auditioned for AKB48's seventh generation and was able to rejoin as a member of Kenkyuusei. She was promoted to Team K on March 12, 2010. She was transferred to Team A during the AKB48 team shuffle in August 2012.
• Kikuchi's given name is written in kanji (「彩香」). However, she adopted the hiragana reading (「あやか」) as her stage name.
• Her hobbies include talking with the other members
• Came up with the idea of Noguchi Reina playing Jankenpon each time she introduces herself at a performance.
• Loves seasoned seaweed and shaved ice
• Her phone strap features Minnie Mouse
• She is a sprinter on her track team at school
• Her bedroom is almost entirely pink
• She is close friends with Nakagawa Haruka.
