For this Tokyo Jihen album instead of Shiina Ringo composing the majority of the band's music, selections of the best work from the other members' own songs were picked to be released. Out of the new songs on the album, seven were composed by Ukigumo, five by Izawa Ichiyou and one by Kameda Seiji. The first press of the album features a slipcase and special jagged packaging. "Kingyo no Hako" was chosen as the ending theme song for the Tsutsumi Shinichi-starring film Mouryou no Hako. "SSAW" represents the four seasons in English (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). The album reached #2 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 20 weeks. It sold a total of 164,987 copies in 2007, making it the #75 album of the year. The vinyl reached #281 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for one week.
