MUB48 (Mumbai48) is an upcoming Indian idol group produced by Akimoto Yasushi, located in Mumbai, India. The formation of the group was first announced on December 27, 2017 through AKB48's official SHOWROOM live broadcast by Yokoyama Yui, where the group was originally known as MUM48. On June 19, 2019, it was revealed that the group was rebranded to MUB48.
